Zeeland - Sealand...family weekend

The last 3 days we were all together in a province of holland nearby the sea.
We = my family:
father (54) - Willem
mother (53) - Carla
brother (28) and girlfriend - Matthieu and Vanessa
sister (30 and boyfriend (33) with her kids (2 and not yet 1) - Vera, Dennis and Arwen and Ephram.
In the beginning i thought it was going to be a big challenge, we all have extraverted characters, and all a very good way of knowing what we want and expressing this. Ofcourse this gives conflicts.
And we haven't been all togheter for quit a long time living in the same house. So i diidn't know what to expect. In the end, it was ok. Everybody slips back into all old family patterns, and instead of resisting, i went with it. Also a possibility.
Anyway, it was fun, acctually seeing the youngest, my nephew and spending time with him. He has the most beautiful big green/brown eyes i have ever seen before.

The nicest thing what happened was watching my niece Arwen, 2 1/5 years old, seeing the ocean. She yelled: yee, what amount of water! This putting back in perspective that ofcourse this is a big amount of water. Seeing the ocean for so many times i have forgotten how big it is, getting used to it and all.....
